Just in time to get through the crush of holiday shopping, Sassy City Chicks is hosting a girl’s night out and a solution to gift dilemmas all in one night.
Sassy City Chicks at the Petersen Automotive Museum this Thursday, November 21, and giving access to a bevy of local shops and vendors featuring the latest in style, fashion, beauty, food, home goods with up to 80 percent off name brand accessories, clothes, cosmetics and more.
Last year, the Sassy City Chicks event in Los Angeles attracted nearly 1,500 attendees and this year they expect a similar turnout, says Melinda Joseph, co-founder and vice president of Raymi Productions, who organizes Sassy City Chicks events around the country.
For women on a budget looking to stretch their holiday shopping dollars, Joseph said that this is the perfect event for gifts.
“Many of the designers do not have to upsell for department store pricing, they are able to sell directly and offer show specials, there are price ranges for everyone.”
The event also aims to provide a great girls-night experience with perks like with cocktail sampling, giveaways and complimentary spa services.
Joseph also adds that a DJ, live music and the background of the Petersen Automotive museum will provide the perfect setting for shopping, sipping and socializing, but also a place for local vendors, small businesses and artisans to connect to local fans.
The event will feature a beauty pampering lounge hosted by Gloria Williams, nail tech to celebrities including Oprah, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Hudson. Also in the beauty lounge is James Wealthy, a recognizable name in brows and lashes as well as other spa and beauty services.
“Our mission is to create a social and empowering shopping experience for every woman on any budget,” said Joseph.
