Insomnia

"Insomnia": Magic Show Inspired by Borges at Hotel Casa del Mar

As a magician, Derek Hughes is in the front rank of performers, wowing both ordinary folk and fellow conjurers with ease (including fans like David Blaine and Teller). As a comedian, Hughes enjoys similar status and success, having appeared at HBO's Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and at several of the country's biggest clubs. Now Hughes combines the funny and the fantastic into one show, "Insomnia". Held in a private suite at the illustrious Hotel Casa Del Mar, "Insomnia" explores the line between waking and dreaming, drawing inspiration from the fiction of Jorge Luis Borges. Tickets to see the performer "The New York Times" called "thoroughly entertaining" include show admission, parking and one drink.
