"On the Money" focuses -- sometimes comically, sometimes tragically -- on three people who are driven to desperation by the kind of financial problems that plague millions of ordinary Americans today. It's the story of a foreigner who comes to America looking for salvation, a server living paycheck to paycheck and a struggling single mother, all seeking to escape their financial hardships any way they can.
