"The Nutcracker": Beloved Holiday Dance Favorite

The American Pacific Ballet Company and the Academy of Dance team up to charm young and old alike this holiday season with a production of "The Nutcracker". Featuring choreography by Mignon Furman, this beloved seasonal favorite is chock-full of lively children, scampering mice, beautiful dancers and more, not to mention a thrilling battle, magical transformations, a mysteriously "growing" Christmas tree, and delicately falling snow. Jeraldine Mendoza and Dylan Gutierrez of Joffrey Ballet (Chicago) will dance the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. Brian Loftus, International Guest Educator from London, returns to perform the role of Drosselmeyer. Make sure to put this classic holiday treat, set to the beloved Tchaikovsky score, on your calendar.
