The Sunset Strip Music Festival returns for its sixth year August 1-3 with some of the biggest names in music hitting the Sunset Strip.
The party starts August 1 with 70s hard rock favorite Joan Jett receiving an honoree award at the House of Blues and continues throughout the weekend with festival headliners Linkin Park, Wale, Awolnation, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and several others.
In addition to performances at outdoor stages, the Roxy, Whisky A Go Go and the Viper Room, the festival features food trucks, beer gardens, an autograph tent and other attractions.
Doors open at 2pm and popular neighborhood restaurants are nearby for festival-goers looking for other dining options, including Burger Lounge, Café Primo and Cabo Cantina.
General admission tickets are $79 and $145 or $250 for VIP tickets with a priority entrance into the music fest and access to a VIP lounge.
General admission tickets enter between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard. VIP guests will need to pick up their wristbands at Doheny and Sunset. Show ends at 11 p.m. but wristband wearers cans still find musical acts on stage at participating venues.
