Edwin Huizinga & Peter Longworth

Gershwin, Bach & More: Violinist Edwin Huizinga & Pianist Peter Longworth

Gershwin and Bach are among the composers in an eclectic program Edwin Huizinga and Peter Longworth will perform at this intimate concert inside in a darkly romantic Art Deco chamber richly adorned with Lalique glass. One of North America's most versatile violinists, Huizinga has been called a "leading classical revolutionary." Longworth, one of the most sought-after pianists of his generation, has performed throughout the world as a soloist and chamber musician. Together these two stellar performers will take you on a musical journey from American masters John Adams ("Road Movies") and George Gershwin (Three Preludes) to Bach (Partita and Chaconne), and ending with a bit of Argentine passion with Piazzolla ("Le Grand Tango").
