Mike Critelli's Cavern of Whimsy

Mike Critelli’s Cavern of Whimsy is hard to explain but easy to love. At 8:30 PM on the first Monday of every month, LA writer/performer Mike Critelli hosts local artists – stand-ups, magicians, painters, musical acts, and more – and brings talented improvisers together for on-the-fly original segments like Filthy Parody Karaoke (in which performers attempt to sing obscene parody versions of their favorite songs) and The Cavalcade of Weirdos (a mock panel interview with characters inspired by an audience suggestion). Also, every month features a comedic slideshow tour of a different part of Los Angeles. Think early David Letterman meets recent Jimmy Fallon, but edgier, and with free drinks.
