"The Black Version": The Groundlings Take on Popular Films

In the Groundlings' "The Black Version", a cast of African-American comedians and actors remix popular films. You and your fellow audience members will suggest the titles of your favorite movies, such as "Gone With the Wind", "Harry Potter" or "Titanic". Then the cast of comedians will perform scenes from the "black version" of the film. It's a simple concept with unpredictable and hilarious results. The accomplished cast includes veterans of "MADtv", "The Pee-wee Herman Show" and "Reno 911!"
