NORTH HOLLYWOOD - (June 2, 2015) - For the first time on the West Coast, OBIE Award winning playwright Samuel D. Hunter’s A PERMANENT IMAGE comes to Rogue Machine on June 6th. Kicking off their 8th season, and helmed by the company’s founding Artistic Director and LA Weekly “Career Achievement Award” recipient John Perrin Flynn, the award-winning cast will include Anne Gee Byrd, Tracie Lockwood, Ned Mochel, and Mark L. Taylor. Rogue Machine received the American Theatre Wing’s 2014 National Theatre Company Grant, given only to 12 theatre companies in the country.

ABOUT THE SHOW

As members of an estranged family from a small town in Idaho gather to bury the family patriarch, Mom delivers a surprising twist. The traditionally joyous and colorful holidays are approaching, and siblings Bo and Ally are stunned to see how their childhood home has been "decorated" for the occasion. We soon see a method behind this madness as A Permanent Image paints a stunning picture of the interrelations in this broken family.

A PERMANENT IMAGE will open June 6th and run through July 20th, 2015 at ROGUE MACHINE in Theatre Theater: 5041 Pico Boulevard Los Angeles, California 90019 (West of La Brea).
